Description

Entecavir 0.5 mg is an antiviral medication used in the treatment of chronic Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. It belongs to the class of medicines known as nucleoside analog reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs).

ENTELIEVA 0.5 MG works by inhibiting the replication of Hepatitis B virus, thereby reducing viral load, improving liver function, and preventing further liver damage such as cirrhosis or liver cancer.


Uses

Entecavir 0.5 mg is indicated for:

       ㆍ Treatment of chronic Hepatitis B infection in adults

       ㆍ Patients with compensated or decompensated liver disease

       ㆍ Reducing the risk of liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma

       ㆍ Patients with active viral replication and elevated liver enzymes
