LENALIEVA 10MG ( Lenalidomide Capsules 10mg )

LENALIEVA 10 mg contains Lenalidomide, an immunomodulatory anticancer drug (IMiD). It enhances immune response, inhibits tumor cell proliferation, reduces angiogenesis, and induces apoptosis of malignant cells. It is a more potent and safer analogue of thalidomide.

Lenalidomide is indicated for treatment of:

1. Multiple Myeloma
   – In combination with dexamethasone or other agents

2. Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS)
   – With deletion 5q abnormality

3. Mantle Cell Lymphoma
   – Relapsed or refractory

4. Follicular Lymphoma & Marginal Zone Lymphoma (selected regimens)

Common side effects:

•   Neutropenia and thrombocytopenia

•   Fatigue, weakness

•   Diarrhea or constipation

•   Skin rash, itching

•   Muscle cramps

Serious side effects:

•   Thromboembolism (DVT/PE)

•   Severe infections

•   Liver function abnormalities

•   Secondary malignancies (rare)

Regular CBC monitoring and thromboprophylaxis may be required.

Dosage varies by indication and renal function.

Typical dosing examples:

•   Multiple Myeloma: 25 mg once daily on Days 1–21 of a 28-day cycle

•   MDS (del 5q): 10 mg once daily continuously

10 mg strength is commonly used for maintenance therapy or dose adjustment.
