NINDALIEVA 150MG ( Nintedanib Softgelatin Capsules 150mg )

NINDALIEVA contains Nintedanib, an oral tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI). It works by blocking multiple growth factor receptors (VEGFR, FGFR, PDGFR), inhibiting angiogenesis and tumor cell proliferation.

Nintedanib is used for:

1. Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) – in combination with docetaxel for adenocarcinoma after prior chemotherapy

2. Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) – slows disease progression (non-oncology use)

3. Other fibrotic lung diseases (off-label in some cases)

Common side effects:

•  Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting

•  Loss of appetite, weight loss

•  Liver enzyme elevation

•  Fatigue

Serious side effects:

•  Severe liver toxicity

•  Bleeding complications

•  Gastrointestinal perforation (rare)

•  Cardiac events (rare)

Liver function tests should be monitored regularly.

•  Standard dose: 150 mg twice daily (every 12 hours)

•  Take with food

•  Swallow capsules whole (do not crush or chew)

•  Dose adjustments required for liver impairment or severe side effects
