IMNOLIEVA 2MG ( Pomalidomide Capsules 2mg )

IMNOLIEVA 2 mg contains Pomalidomide, an oral immunomodulatory anticancer drug (IMiD) and a third-generation analogue of thalidomide. It works by modulating the immune system, inhibiting angiogenesis, and inducing apoptosis of malignant plasma cells.

Pomalidomide is used for:

1. Relapsed or Refractory Multiple Myeloma
    – In patients who have received ≥2 prior therapies including lenalidomide and a proteasome inhibitor
    – Given in combination with dexamethasone

Common side effects:

•  Neutropenia

•  Anemia

•  Thrombocytopenia

•  Fatigue

•  Constipation or diarrhea

Serious side effects:

•  Thromboembolic events (DVT/PE)

•  Severe infections

•  Peripheral neuropathy (less common than thalidomide)

CBC monitoring and thromboprophylaxis are essential.

Dosage depends on prior therapy and tolerance.

Common regimen:

     • 4 mg once daily on Days 1–21 of a 28-day cycle, with dexamethasone

2 mg capsules are mainly used for dose reduction or adjustment.
