    Description

    Regolieva contains Regorafenib, an oral targeted anticancer medicine. It is a multi-kinase inhibitor that blocks enzymes involved in tumor cell growth, angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels), and cancer progression, thereby slowing or stopping the spread of cancer.

    Uses

    Regolieva (Regorafenib) is used in adults for the treatment of:

    1. Metastatic Colorectal Cancer (mCRC)
      – After failure of standard chemotherapy and biological therapies

    2. Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST)
      – In patients previously treated with imatinib and sunitinib

    3. Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC)
      – In patients who were previously treated with sorafenib

    Side Effects

    Common side effects:

    • Fatigue, weakness

    • Hand–foot skin reaction (palmar-plantar erythrodysesthesia)

    • Diarrhea

    • Decreased appetite, weight loss

    • Mouth sores (stomatitis)

    • Hair thinning or hair loss

    • High blood pressure

    Dosage

    • Recommended dose:
      160 mg once daily (4 tablets of 40 mg)

    • Taken for 21 consecutive days, followed by 7 days off

    • One treatment cycle = 28 days

    • Take tablets after a low-fat meal

    • Swallow whole with water (do not crush or chew)
